I know it has been awhile before this HUGE update. But is well worth it! Now I’ll have alot more time to work on this website, and is going to be extremely active! Sometime during the night on Friday Feb. 8th, one of Acclaims web servers was hit with a hack. This hack cause some of our webpages to add an addition line to the HTML as it was served to you the players. The forums of all the games were not effected. Only the main Web Sites and Launcher pages would have been effected.
This line of code linked to a web site that used a javascript to determined if you were using Internet Explorer 5 or greater and then attempted to use a RealPlayer Active X to download and run code on your machine. So only IE 5+ users that also have older versions RealPlayer were at risk. Becuase it was a downloading trojan we do not know what it may have downloaded if it was undetected. We strongly encourage all of you to update your virus programs and run a complete scan to ensure that you were not effected. The most recent updates for the following Anti-Virus programs are known to stop this attack:

What we need you to do is to put together a video of the bug and a dxdiag report for your machine, then send the link to the video and attach the dxdiag file in an email to community@acclaim.com
The first person to do so will recieve 2000 Acclaim Coins.
The DxDiag file is simply a text based list of the hardware and drivers installed on your PC. It allows us to identify possible problems or find trends in major issues, and should be included in all Technical Help requests.
To get your DxDiag file, go through the following steps:
You will then be able to send the saved file as an attachment to your email.
Once you have the video you can use a file upload service and send us a link.

Dead Front bugged walls.
We need a video that starts with beginning of DF and goes all the way to the wall that doesn’t open. We will need time, date, server, shard and map of the event hat was bugged along with the dx diag and video link.

In the summer of 2007, GameHi promised that Dekaron (Korean version of 2Moons) will release two massive updates before the end of 2007. They made good on their promise by launching Dead Front and Road to Sacred Land (non-official translation).
Recently, GameHi released the third expansion Dead Expeditionary Force (non-official translation) for Dekaron. There are two important stage-mode instance quests contained in the new expansion, respectively called Karon’s Transport Ship and Cherubim’s Lair (non-official translation).
Karon’s Transport Ship and Cherubim’s Lair are different from any other dungeons or hunting grounds in Dekaron. They are specially designed for teams and only expeditioners are allowed to enter these two maps. An expeditionary team will be formed by 12 to 18 players and the team can be divided into three groups. Compared to the other instance quests in Dekaron, Dead Expeditionary Force puts more emphasis on team spirit. It is more challenging and requires high on teammembers’ level, equipment, control skills and coordination.
2Moons is still waiting for its second expansion. Hope Acclaim will quicken its pace in updating 2Moons. Don’t keep us waiting too long!!

How perfect that Friday falls at the first of the month.
As you can see we are starting to make changes in prep for the much lofted “Big Patch”. The Patcher window now has a little more information than a static image and will be evolving over the month. We’ve switched over to an HTML based homepage which will allow us to update things faster and we’ve started to put some house advertisements in to the In-Game Ad system.
There seems to be a lot of rumors and speculation about the “BP” date. Way back in Nov. of last year we let everyone know it would be “Early 2008″. We’ve had a lot of hard luck with patching and updates, so we are being overly cautious in bringing this to you. I’m sure you will agree that this is the best way to handle it. We’ve always said that we will not give you a date unless we can 110% guarantee that it will happen on that date. At this time we don’t have a firm date. When we do, I will let you know. When you start to see information about the new things coming in the patch, it is a sure sign we are getting close.
This month we will start the process of creating a Player Advisory Board for 2Moons. This group of players will be given tasks defined by David Perry and Acclaim to really begin the process of making 2Moons a better game. We’ve said that once we catch up to Dekaron, then we can start making suggestions for changes. We are almost there.
The January “Wall of Shame” is up! More than 5000 Acclaim accounts banned, removing more than 8000 shameful characters from the game.
